For Instructors

University Science Books are a part of the core curriculum in fields of physics, chemistry, chemical physics, astronomy, and applied math.

Designed for undergraduate level classes, new editions of classic textbooks ensure that students are kept up-to-date with the latest scientific advances. Student solution manuals accompany many of our text books to provide practice questions and additional support for the subject. Books are available for course adoption in print, or in digital formats through VitalSource and RedShelf.

Evaluating a text for your course?
Faculty who are considering texts for a course that they are scheduled to teach during the next academic year may request an Evaluation Copy using our Evaluation Copy Request Form. We will provide you with access to the digital edition of the book for 45 days so you have time for a thorough review. Faculty of qualified courses may also request to receive a print Evaluation Copy of our books. This copy is yours to keep if you adopt the text for your course. If the text is not adopted, you can either return the Evaluation Copy to us, or purchase it with a 30% academic discount.

Adopting a text for your course?
If you have adopted a USB text as a required book for your students and you would like access to a complimentary print copy and/or any other available ancillary resources for that book, please fill out the Evaluation and Desk Copy form with your school and class information, and we will provide you with access as soon as possible. If you are only looking for ancillary materials and not a desk copy, please clarify that in the “Notes” section of the form.

To request an Evaluation Copy, please complete the form on the book description page or fill out this form
