- Page 3, 4th full paragraph, 3rd line: change “eleven” to “eighteen”.
- Page 16, problem P1.2, first line: change “10” to “17”.
- Page 179, problem P10.6, part d: change “six” to “16”.
- Page 229, problem P13.4, part d: change “six” to “16”.
- Page 271, problem P16.1, part a: insert “Also prove that {σj , σk} = 2δjk.” before the final parenthesis.
- Page 271, problem P16.7: Append “(Hint: It helps to first prove that {σj , σk} = 2δjk.)”
- Page 336, Problem 20.5, part b, 1st sentence: change “incoming photon and electron, respectively” to

“incoming electron and photon, respectively” and change “outgoing photon and electron” to “outgoing

electron and photon”. - Page 336, Equation 20.37: the quantity in brackets should be [u3ϵ2ϵ∗4 p4u1].
- Page 336, Problem 20.5, part d, next-to-last line: change (p3 · p2)(p1 · p4) to (p1 · p2)(p3 · p4) (that is,

reverse the 3 and 1 subscripts). - Page 337, Equation 20.41, change (p1 · p2)(p2 · p4) to (p1 · p2)(p3 · p4).
- Page 337, Problem P20.7, part e, delete “show that E1 = (E2 − M2/2E and E2 = (E2 + M2)/2E,

where E = E1 +E2 is the total incoming energy in this frame. E1 = E2 = E3 = E4 in this limit.” and

replace with “E1 ≈ E2 ≈ E3 ≈ E4.” - Page 378, Problem P22.5, last line: insert close parenthesis after p3.
- Page 469, Problem P27.7, 6th line from bottom: insert before the period in “four-momenta. Work”

the following: “: choose the undetermined four-momentum to be that of the virtual particle connecting

the photons”. - Page 500, Problem 29.7, part b, first line: replace AFB with Af .
- Page 500, Problem 29.7, part b, second line: replace AFB with Af .
- Page 500, Problem 29.7, part c, second line: replace AFB with Af .
- Page 519, Equation 30.36: should read

(30.36) - Page 519, Problem P30.4b, third and second-to-last lines: delete “The total color factor f is therefore

f = 1

2 [fa + fb − fc + fd].” - Page 558, Equation 32.10, delete the minus signs following the two open parentheses.
